My baby turned one! We threw him a little-big fiesta. What better way to take advantage of the summer weather and use a fun theme that both kids and adults could enjoy (as I see many cartoony-themed bdays in the future!). We prayed for sunshine, and got it too! The party included some classic games such as Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Donkey, and of course a pinata! We watched some flamenco dancers do a performance, enjoyed mexican food and margaritas and ended the night with a cake smash - which wasn't much of a smash :| Some great memories for our little guy, were captured by Shona of Sweet Earth Photographics.
I would also like to thank Carla from Whimsical Treats for the custom fiesta cake! And most importantly, thank you to all our friends and family who came out to celebrate Himat's big ONE!
Amazing work!!

ReplyDeleteI love the way your party turned out! I'm planning a fiesta for my son's 2nd birthday, since he was born on Cinco de Mayo! Where did you get all of your decorations? Banner, maracas & tambourine, mini pinatas, napkins, etc. It all looks great!
