Navi + Rick :: Married!

I had a great time in the not-so-great city of Edmonton this past weekend, shooting Navi and Rick's wedding! One of the few one-day weddings of the year, the day was jam-packed (luckily there's no traffic in Edmonton!). Bride and groom spared a moment for yoga... Oh, and I loved the dance-off between the in-laws at the reception! The dads sure know how to bust a move! Thanks to the very sweet bride, Navi, groom, Rick, and their friends and family for the wonderful hospitality.

Nina + Om:: Wedding II

After a long drive for the groom, and a flat tire fix, I met Nina & Om for some final wedding shots. Nina is so incredibly gorgeous, and it was always nice to see that Om could bring out her beautiful smile. Enjoy... My First Hindu Wedding!

This was my first time shooting a hindu wedding ceremony, and I can't wait for the next one! It was such a wonderful experience - kind of a refreshing change as well! I loved capturing all of the many rituals, and all the colourful details that came with. It's a lot to take in at once, but I hope to grasp the deep meaning and values to this beautiful culture in upcoming opportunities.Thanks for trusting me on this one Nina and Om!

I've been doing nothing but processing photos for the past few days, and figure it's time to take a break to blog! Here are a few shots from Arv + Raj's next-day wedding reception. Vivid purple theme, and a whole lotta people (check out the dance floor pic!). This party went hard, and barely ended at 2am... on a Sunday!
